Sharp raises R$1.7M pre-seed to bring AI sales coaching to Brazilian field teams

Sharp raises R$1.7M pre-seed

Sharp, a Brazilian sales-enablement startup, has raised R$1.7 million in pre-seed funding. The round was backed by Strive. No lead investor was disclosed.

What Sharp does

Sharp is an AI platform focused on the conversations that happen away from a keyboard. It captures and analyses in-person, field and WhatsApp sales conversations, scores them against the team playbook, and surfaces the behaviours behind closed deals. Reps can also rehearse negotiations against an AI-simulated buyer and receive feedback afterwards.

Rather than running as pure SaaS, Sharp pairs its software with sales specialists during client rollout.

Company background

Sharp was founded in late 2025 by Joao Ribeiro and Octavio Garbi. The company is currently in a testing phase with 10 clients across industrial, distribution, education, insurance and automotive sectors. Named clients include Loft, Bid Brasil and Energisa.

Why it matters for acquisition watchers

Sharp sits at the intersection of two durable enterprise budgets: sales enablement and conversational AI. Its focus on field and WhatsApp conversations is a differentiated wedge in a market where most sales-coaching tools are built around call recordings and email. The hybrid delivery model — software plus sales specialists during rollout — can drive deeper account entrenchment, though it also introduces services-heavy margins that acquirers will want to examine.

The early client roster spans several verticals, which suggests the platform is not yet locked into a single industry. For strategic buyers in CRM, sales engagement or revenue intelligence, Sharp could represent an early-stage entry point into the Brazilian market, where WhatsApp is a primary commercial channel.

At pre-seed, the company is still proving repeatability. The next milestones to watch are conversion from the 10-client testing phase into paid, expanding accounts, and whether the specialist-assisted rollout model scales without proportional headcount growth.
