MVrix (엠브릭스) is a South Korean biotech founded in 2021 and led by CEO Jeong Sang-won (정상원) that builds protein-engineering therapeutics around targeted delivery. Its core platform, Navibody, couples antibodies to lipid nanoparticles (LNP) so therapeutic mRNA can be delivered selectively to specific immune cells inside the body — the basis of its lead in-vivo CAR-T program MIC-001, aimed at autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). A second program, MBT-002, is a recombinant botulinum toxin candidate whose cosmetic rights were licensed to Eyegene in 2025; the company reports a roughly 80-patent IP portfolio and a 20-plus partner R&D network since founding.
