mika (Get Mika GmbH) is a Berlin-based fintech offering an AI-native financial operating system for German small businesses, especially GmbHs and UGs. The platform automates ongoing bookkeeping, VAT returns, annual accounts and tax filings around an AI-native general ledger built for German accounting, with trained accountants reviewing results and customers able to query their finances in the app or via assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude through the Model Context Protocol. Initially focused on digital-first service businesses such as agencies and consultancies, mika has expanded into SaaS, property, e-commerce, retail and skilled trades and serves more than 800 companies.
