Creoir is a Finnish defence-technology company from Oulu, founded in 2012 by ex-Nokia engineers Antti Lilja (CEO), Jaakko Mattila (COO) and Oskari Ketola (CTO). Originally a product-development house working on early Jolla, Marshall and Amazon Alexa devices, it pivoted in 2020 to its own on-device speech technology and now builds EdgeVUI, defence-grade offline voice AI built on Cerence AI speech components, and Operator Assistant, an AI-powered knowledge base for mission-critical systems. Its technology is in projects with defence primes including Saab, Leidos and TKMS, and the company was selected for the NATO Layered Counter-UAS Innovation Range (LCI-X).
