Overview

This skill creates professional logos using AI image generation and an iterative design workflow. It guides discovery of brand requirements, generates multiple variations, supports cropping and background removal, and exports final assets as SVG. The skill organizes every iteration into a dated project folder so every version is preserved.

How this skill works

I first collect brand details: name, style, aspect ratio, colors, and references. Then I batch-generate dozens of logo variations using an image-generation backend, create an HTML preview for quick review, and iterate based on user feedback. Once a design is approved, I crop whitespace, remove backgrounds, and vectorize the raster into an SVG for scalable delivery.

When to use it

  • Designing a new logo, icon, favicon, brand mark, mascot, or emblem.
  • Exploring multiple stylistic directions quickly (minimalist, pixel art, mascot, etc.).
  • Converting a chosen raster logo to a transparent PNG and an SVG vector.
  • Creating app icons or favicons that require specific aspect ratios.
  • When you want organized version history of all generated variations.

Best practices

  • Provide a clear brief: brand name, preferred styles, exact colors, and example references.
  • Default to 1:1 for initial rounds; switch ratios later for banners or headers.
  • Generate a batch of variations (e.g., 20) to explore directions before narrowing down.
  • Iterate on favorites by requesting targeted variations and naming versions clearly.
  • Keep all outputs in a dated project folder and copy final assets to your desired location.

Example use cases

  • A solo founder needs 20 logo concepts to pick a direction for a tech startup.
  • A designer wants a favicon derived from an approved brand mark in square format.
  • A small business converts a chosen raster logo to an SVG for print and web.
  • A gaming project requests a mascot-style logo and refines expressions across versions.
  • A marketer creates minimal flat-design logos in brand colors for social assets.

FAQ

The default is 20 variations, but you can request fewer or more depending on preference.

Can outputs be exported as scalable vectors?

Yes — after you approve a design the workflow crops, removes the background, and vectorizes the image to produce an SVG.
