This skill is a build-in-public companion for indie hackers that guides idea capture, draft creation, and social engagement. It acts as a living assistant that helps you keep momentum, shape a project personality, and publish consistent content. Configure a local data path and a voice profile to start generating backlog-to-publish workflows and Twitter/X strategies.

How this skill works

The skill stores all content and metadata in a local dataPath with folders for ideas, drafts, and activity snapshots. It reads your backlog and session logs, generates drafts in a chosen voice, and offers Telegram-friendly buttons for saving, regenerating, or publishing. Additional modules provide Twitter/X strategy, watchlist monitoring, and a Soul Wizard that builds a project personality from docs.

Best practices

• Set solobuddy.dataPath to a dedicated project folder and keep ideas/drafts under that path.
• Choose or customize a voice profile to keep content tone consistent across posts.
• Commit drafts frequently and use the activity snapshot to time pushes and nudges.
• Use session-log captures for raw ideas and convert them into structured backlog items.
• Enable the Twitter Monitor only if you have the required bird CLI and a watchlist.
