Overview

This skill generates an energy-optimized, time-blocked daily plan tailored to your priorities and rhythm. It protects morning priming, maps hardest work to peak windows, and produces a clear hour-by-hour schedule with built-in breaks. The plan highlights a one-sentence mission and the top three outcomes to keep execution focused.

How this skill works

The skill gathers context from your current priorities, fixed commitments, and pending tasks, then identifies the top three priorities for the day. It assigns each priority to appropriate energy windows (peak, secondary, recovery, wind-down), inserts buffers and meal breaks, and outputs a clean, actionable time-block schedule with success criteria and an evening check-in. You can request a plan for today or a future date.

When to use it

  • When you need a focused, realistic daily schedule that matches your energy peaks
  • At the start of the day or the night before to set a clear mission and top 3 priorities
  • Before heavy project work to reserve deep-work blocks and avoid context switching
  • On days with mixed meetings and heads-down tasks to balance commitments and recovery
  • When you want a repeatable evening check-in and next-day adjustment process

Best practices

  • Protect your first hour for waking rituals and avoid scheduling tasks in it
  • Put the hardest, highest-impact task in your peak performance window
  • Leave at least 20% of the day unscheduled for buffers and unexpected work
  • Batch similar tasks together and add short transition buffers between blocks
  • Include explicit meal and recovery blocks to sustain energy through the day

Example use cases

  • A knowledge worker blocking two morning hours for focused writing and an afternoon for meetings
  • A founder scheduling product work during peak energy and handling customer calls in secondary windows
  • A student allocating deep-study blocks, short review periods, and evening reflection
  • A parent protecting personal time and arranging work blocks around fixed family commitments
  • A consultant balancing client deliverables, admin tasks, and planned breaks

FAQ

Yes — provide a specific date and the skill will build a day plan that respects known commitments and projected energy windows.

How does it decide what your top 3 priorities are?

It asks which outcomes must happen, which move the needle most, and which have upcoming deadlines, then ranks tasks against those criteria.
