Overview
This skill generates concise crypto market briefing reports combining latest news, price analysis, trend predictions, sentiment assessment, and a Fear & Greed Index read. It aggregates price data from market aggregators and extracts headlines from multiple crypto news outlets to produce an actionable 12–24 hour market snapshot. The report is designed for traders, analysts, and crypto-focused decision makers who need a quick, evidence-based view of market conditions.
How this skill works
The skill fetches live price and market indicators (prices, 24h changes, market cap, RSI, Fear & Greed) from a major crypto data provider and maps key tickers (BTC, ETH, SOL, SUI, WLD, WIF, BGB). It then crawls multiple crypto news sites and extracts headlines from the last 12 hours, classifies sentiment, and weights price action, news sentiment, volume, and social signals to compute an AI-informed Fear & Greed assessment. Finally it synthesizes price targets, short-term trend predictions, technical support/resistance levels, and practical strategy suggestions into a single briefing.
When to use it
- You need a fast, evidence-backed crypto market snapshot before trading or rebalancing.
- Preparing a morning or intraday market note with news-driven context and technical levels.
- Assessing short-term sentiment and Fear & Greed to adjust risk allocations.
- Monitoring specific tickers: BTC, ETH, SOL, SUI, WLD, WIF, or BGB.
- Generating a summary for a trading desk, newsletter, or investor update.
Best practices
- Run the briefing at regular intervals (e.g., every 6–12 hours) to capture fresh headlines and price action.
- Cross-check key price levels and volume spikes on your charting platform before acting on signals.
- Use the sentiment breakdown and F&G score as context, not a sole trading trigger.
- Combine the report’s strategy suggestions with your risk rules and position sizing.
- Review headline examples to understand what drove the sentiment and adjust watchlists accordingly.
Example use cases
- A trader requests a 12-hour briefing to decide whether to trim or add to BTC and ETH positions.
- An analyst compiles a newsletter summarizing market drivers and short-term price targets.
- A portfolio manager checks Fear & Greed and news sentiment to reweight allocations.
- A crypto media editor extracts top bullish and bearish headlines for a morning digest.
FAQ
Market prices, 24h changes, market indicators, and the official Fear & Greed value are pulled from a major crypto market aggregator to ensure consistent metrics.
How is sentiment calculated from the news?
Headlines from multiple crypto news outlets are classified as positive, neutral, or negative; percentages and severity weightings feed the news sentiment component of the overall score.
