Overview
This skill delivers cross-platform cat therapy: cute cat images, a cat-sound TTS audio plus textual onomatopoeia, and short soothing lines when users ask for a break. It supports user-uploaded cat images and custom sounds, auto-detects language (Chinese/English), and falls back gracefully to ensure delivery across QQ, WeChat, DingTalk, Feishu, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp and more. Designed for fast, low-friction stress relief for global users.
How this skill works
The skill listens for break-related trigger phrases (e.g., "tired", "need a break", "休息一下") and checks user preferences for a saved cat image or sound. It fetches an image from user storage or random cat APIs, generates or retrieves TTS audio for the cat sound, selects a short healing quote in the detected language, and composes a multi-part reply (textual cat sound, TTS audio link, image/media). Platform-specific media formatting and fallbacks (text+emoji) ensure the message reaches the user even when media fails.
When to use it
- User expresses fatigue or asks for a break ("tired", "休息一下").
- User requests cat pictures or says "meow"/"想撸猫".
- Automated wellbeing reminders or scheduled mini-break prompts.
- When you want a light, non-intrusive morale boost in chat channels.
- To deliver short bilingual comfort messages across multiple platforms.
Best practices
- Encourage users to save a personal cat image and sound for a tailored experience.
- Keep replies short: 2–4 sentences with one healing line and a cute sound string.
- Enable both TTS audio and plain text sound to guarantee delivery across clients.
- Respect privacy: store custom images locally and allow easy reset commands.
- Configure multiple image sources for reliable fallback when APIs are unavailable.
Example use cases
- A user types "need a break" in a group chat and receives an instant cat image, a TTS meow, and a comforting line.
- A mobile worker sends "累了" and gets a saved photo of their cat plus the custom cat sound and a short Chinese healing quote.
- Scheduled reminders trigger a gentle "meow~ purr" with an image to nudge users to stretch and relax.
- An admin posts a team wellbeing command in Slack/Discord to deliver a quick communal morale boost.
- If the image fails to load, the skill falls back to friendly descriptive text and emoji to maintain effect.
FAQ
Send your cat image with a trigger phrase like "This is my cat" or upload a sound and say "save this sound"; the skill will store it as your preference.
What if the platform blocks audio or images?
The skill sends both text and TTS links and uses platform-specific formatting; if media fails it falls back to an expressive text+emoji message so the comfort still arrives.
