This skill provides BitChat payment rails to send, receive, buy, and sell Bitcoin between humans and AI agents with a Telegram-first UX. It exposes Lightning-address based transfers, fiat top-up guidance, balance checks, and cross-channel messaging (Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, email). The skill is built for agent-enabled flows and supports real-time Lightning transfers with low fees and simple commands.

How this skill works

The skill connects an agent to BitChat endpoints and messaging channels to manage a Lightning wallet: generate a Lightning address, query balance, send or request sats, and initiate fiat top-ups or withdrawals. It routes user-facing operations through Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, or email addresses/IDs and translates human-readable commands into Lightning network transfers. Fiat top-ups are handled by instructing the human where to send funds and matching transaction notes to agent or human accounts.

When to use it

• When an AI agent needs to pay a human or another agent quickly via Lightning.
• To request or collect small payments from users over Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, or email.
• When you want to expose a Lightning address for receiving Bitcoin from exchanges.
• For automated balance checks and conditional payout logic inside agent workflows.
• To convert between fiat and BTC using guided buy/sell instructions for non-expert humans.

Best practices

• Always confirm the recipient identifier and channel (email, phone, or telegram handle) before sending funds.
• Request the Lightning address from BitChat and forward it to the human to avoid deposit routing errors.
• Use WhatsApp or email for initial human onboarding when Telegram messaging has not been initiated.
• Include clear platform and identifier details in fiat transaction notes so deposits route to the correct account.
• Warn humans when sending to external Lightning addresses and verify experience with exchanges if needed.
