Overview
This skill provides AI-powered bid and tender document review to uncover compliance issues, contradictions, pricing errors, and fraud indicators. It extracts text and tables from .docx/.doc files, cross-references procurement requirements against responses, and produces a structured audit report with risk ratings. The output focuses on actionable findings and remediation recommendations.
How this skill works
The skill extracts all text and table content from procurement and bid documents, then maps requirements to corresponding responses. It runs checks across pricing, mandatory parameters, qualifications, technical claims, and document integrity, flagging contradictions, missing evidence, expired certificates, and abnormal figures. Finally, it compiles a Markdown audit report with categorized issues and red/yellow/green risk ratings.
When to use it
- Before submission: validate your own tender response for gaps and weak evidence
- Bid evaluation: perform a pre-award audit to identify disqualifying issues
- Procurement audits: verify bidder compliance against mandatory criteria
- Post-award checks: review disclosed competitor bids for learning and risk detection
- Quality assurance: run routine scans on batches of bid documents
Best practices
- Provide both procurement (requirements) and bid (response) documents in the same working directory for paired analysis
- Include all supporting attachments in .doc/.docx or text-extractable formats; the lite version does not analyze images
- Review the generated checklist and address 🔴 Critical Issues before final submission
- Use clear filenames and a short project info header in documents to improve automatic mapping
- Re-run reviews after any amendment to detect introduced inconsistencies
Example use cases
- A bid manager validates unit prices, tax calculations, and amount-in-words consistency before deadline
- A procurement officer audits received bids to flag expired certificates and missing mandatory responses
- A company compares a competitor’s disclosed bid to spot contradictions or unusually low pricing
- A QA team performs batch reviews to ensure all tenders meet mandatory templates and signature requirements
FAQ
