Overview

This skill creates structured Marp slide decks for proposal and comparison documents that support decision making. It focuses on clear problem definition, side-by-side option comparison, and organized pros/cons for each alternative. After generating slides it triggers a mandatory sub-agent review to ensure clarity and correctness.

How this skill works

I collect key inputs (problem, candidate options, audience, decision goal) and design a slide structure tailored to the use case. I generate Marp-formatted Markdown slides, create or place SVG diagrams where helpful, and apply a style guide that enforces one-message-per-slide and readable typography. Once slides are produced I invoke a code-quality-reviewer sub-agent to validate content, MECE coverage, and Marp rendering.

When to use it

  • Technical selection or architecture comparison
  • Proposal or project pitch documents
  • Presenting multiple solution options with trade-offs
  • Decision-support documents for stakeholders
  • Preparing approval or budget request slides

Best practices

  • Start with a concise problem statement and a clear decision goal
  • Limit each slide to one main message and 3–5 bullet points
  • Use a comparison matrix (criteria × options) for objective evaluation
  • Include pros/cons for each option and a justified recommended option
  • Place SVG diagrams beside related slides; keep visuals simple and labeled
  • Run the mandatory sub-agent review before final delivery

Example use cases

  • Compare three backend frameworks for a new platform with cost, performance, and team-skills criteria
  • Prepare an RFP response slide deck outlining solution, implementation plan, and risks
  • Create a budget-approval deck with ROI, cost breakdown, and next steps
  • Document a migration plan: current state, proposed architectures, timeline, and training needs
  • Produce an incident root-cause and remediation proposal with impact and prevention measures

FAQ

A Marp Markdown slide file plus any SVG assets; slides follow the provided template and style rules.

How is the review performed?

A sub-agent (code-quality-reviewer) checks clarity of the problem, MECE of comparison criteria, balance of pros/cons, diagram clarity, and Marp syntax.
