The skill first confirms it is running in the project root by verifying the presence of .webnovel/state.json and asking for the path if missing. It identifies the query type, loads only the required reference files, reads state.json, and performs targeted searches or analyses (standard lookups, foreshadowing urgency, strand/rhythm checks, or golden-finger status). Results are formatted into a concise report with data sources and consistency notes.

When to use it

• Check a character card, supporting cast, or protagonist details
• Assess foreshadowing urgency and whether clues are overdue
• Inspect a golden-finger/system status and upgrade progress
• Verify item, faction, or realm entries across setting files
• Run a rhythm/strand analysis to spot pacing gaps or warnings
