Overview

This skill generates atomic Zettelkasten-style notes following the one-concept-per-note principle. It creates files in Resources/Zettelkasten/ using a consistent template and proposes links to existing related notes. Use it to capture study concepts, summarize new knowledge, and build a connected note graph.

How this skill works

I ask for the concept you want to capture, search Resources/Zettelkasten/ for related notes, then create a new markdown file using a compact template. The new note includes a short definition, an explanatory section, an example, and suggested [[links]] to related notes. Filenames are concise and descriptive so a glance reveals the topic.

When to use it

• Summarizing a single concept after reading or a lecture
• Adding a small piece of new knowledge to your Zettelkasten
• Creating a note that will serve as a building block for future connections
• Refactoring long notes into atomic, linkable pieces
• Onboarding study material into a connected note graph

Best practices

• Stick to one concept per note to keep notes atomic and reusable
• Write a one-sentence core definition at the top for quick scanning
• Keep filenames short, clear, and recognizable (spaces allowed, minimal special characters)
• Include a concrete example or code snippet to clarify the concept
• Link proactively: suggest existing notes that logically connect using [[Note Title]]
