Overview

This skill generates and iterates ad creative at scale — headlines, descriptions, primary text, and full ad variations — tailored to platform specs and performance data. It enforces character limits, organizes output for uploads, and produces CSV-ready batches. Use it to create fresh creative or to analyze results and produce data-driven iterations.

How this skill works

The skill works in two modes: generate-from-scratch using product, audience, and platform context; and iterate-from-data by analyzing performance metrics (CTR, conversion, ROAS) to identify winning themes and structures. It validates every asset against platform character limits, organizes creative by angle, and outputs structured lists or CSV for direct upload. When provided performance CSVs or API output, it diagnoses winners/losers, proposes new variations, and logs the iteration plan.

When to use it

  • You need 10+ headline/description variations for Google RSAs or social ads.
  • You want bulk ad copy for upload (CSV) with platform-safe lengths.
  • You have performance data and need new variations that double down on winners.
  • You must enforce strict platform character limits before launch.
  • You want structured creative organized by angle for A/B testing.

Best practices

  • Start by gathering product marketing context (offer, audience, awareness stage) before writing.
  • Define 3–5 distinct angles (pain, outcome, social proof, curiosity) and generate multiple variations per angle.
  • Enforce platform specs: validate character counts and provide trimmed alternates when needed.
  • Include at least one keyword-focused, one benefit-focused, and one CTA headline for RSAs.
  • Iterate from data: test one variable per cycle and allow sufficient impressions (1,000+) before concluding.

Example use cases

  • Generate 15 Google RSA headlines + 4 descriptions, all within 30/90 char limits, organized by angle.
  • Analyze last 30 days of Facebook ad performance and produce 30 new Meta primary texts that build on winning hooks.
  • Produce CSV for bulk upload with mapped columns for headline_1..headline_15 and description_1..4 for Google Ads.
  • Create three waves of creative: core angles, extended variations on winners, and wild-card contrarian tests.
  • Prepare trimmed alternates for any creative that exceeds platform limits and flag potential policy issues.

FAQ

Yes. It validates copy against platform-specific limits (Google RSA, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X) and provides trimmed alternatives when needed.

What input do you need to iterate from performance data?

Provide recent performance metrics (CSV or paste) with identifiers, CTR/conversion/ROAS, and which metric matters most; the skill will find winning patterns and generate new variations.

Will you pin headlines or recommend pinned positions for RSAs?

Pinning is only recommended when necessary. By default, headlines are written to make sense in any combination to preserve algorithmic optimization.
