Overview

This skill generates a one-page project introduction slide image using Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image Preview). It produces three distinct design patterns (Minimalist, Infographic, Hero Visual), runs quality checks, and returns the best image for each pattern. Use it to create a concise visual introduction or 1-page summary for a project quickly.

How this skill works

The skill collects project info from user input or by analyzing repository files (README, package.json, Cargo.toml, pyproject.toml, etc.). It asks the user only when necessary about size, aspect ratio, and tone. It then generates 3 patterns × 2 candidates (six images), scores each pair, retries poor candidates up to three times, and outputs the highest-scoring image per pattern plus a quality report.

When to use it

  • You need a single-slide visual summary or project intro image.
  • Preparing a visual one-page summary for README, PR, or product page.
  • You want alternative design options (minimal, infographic, hero) to choose from.
  • You have a project description or allow automatic repo analysis to extract details.
  • You need a fast visual introduction but not a multi-slide presentation or video.

Best practices

  • Provide a short project description or allow repo analysis to improve accuracy.
  • Specify desired aspect ratio and tone only if you need a non-default look (default is 16:9, 2K).
  • Supply brand colors or key points to emphasize, so the generator can prioritize them.
  • Review the quality report and select manual prompt edits if automatic retries fail.
  • Use the selected images as hero assets for README, landing pages, or single-slide previews.

Example use cases

  • Generate a one-page project intro image for a GitHub README or project landing section.
  • Create a visual summary for a PR description or release notes to highlight features and stack.
  • Produce three stylistic options to choose from for a conference one-sheet or demo page.
  • Quickly assemble a shareable image for social previews or product announcement posts.

FAQ

Either a short project description passed as input, or permission to analyze common repo files (README, package manifests) to extract name, summary, features, and tech stack.

Can it produce a full slide deck or video?

No. This skill is focused on a single-slide visual introduction. It intentionally does not generate multi-page decks or videos.

What happens if generated images score poorly?

The skill retries prompt improvements up to three times per pattern. If retries still fail, it prompts you to adopt the best-scoring image, skip the pattern, or provide a manual prompt for regeneration.
