Overview
This skill produces professional promotional videos using Remotion with AI voiceover and background music. I combine 20 years of motion-graphics experience with pragmatic build steps so you get polished visuals, tight pacing, and broadcast-grade audio. Invoke with /promo-video to start a guided workflow.
How this skill works
I guide you through structured phases: product/context capture, duration and visual theme selection, building a Remotion composition, generating and syncing ElevenLabs voiceover, and mixing background music. The skill automates project setup, provides composition and framing defaults (1920x1080, 30fps), and includes concrete audio mixing and render commands so you can preview and iterate quickly.
When to use it
- Launching a new product or feature and needing a short social or landing page promo
- Creating a polished SaaS demo or explainer with synchronized voiceover
- Refreshing brand campaign assets with premium motion and 3D device mockups
- Producing a 30–90s ad or overview for YouTube, LinkedIn, or paid channels
- Rapid prototyping of video concepts with ready-made music and voice options
Best practices
- Provide product context up front (describe it or allow a code scan) so I can pre-populate options
- Choose 60s for a balanced overview; pick a voice ID from the provided ElevenLabs list for consistent results
- Keep headlines large (60–90px) and device mockups filling 60–80% of frame width
- Extract scene timings, write script tied to on-screen elements, and verify voiceover timestamps with Whisper
- Fix overlaps by shortening copy or adding gaps; repeat generate/verify until clean
Example use cases
- 60s feature overview for a SaaS landing page with device mockups and CTA to sign up
- 30s social ad highlighting a single pain/solution with punchy visuals and upbeat music
- 90s walkthrough combining demo captures and narrated feature sections for sales outreach
- Brand campaign opener with cinematic transitions, 3D perspective device frames, and motivating background music
FAQ
Four ElevenLabs voices are supported: Matilda, Rachel, Daniel, and Josh. Use the exact voice IDs when generating audio.
How do you ensure voiceover sync?
I extract scene timings, write screen-referenced copy, generate audio, then verify timestamps with Whisper. Any overlaps are fixed by shortening text or adding pauses and regenerating.
