This skill animates a single still image into a short video using fal.ai Veo 3.1. It turns photos into up to 8-second clips with optional audio and supports 720p or 1080p outputs. Use descriptive motion prompts to control camera moves and object motion.

How this skill works

You provide an image URL and a text prompt describing motion or camera movement. The skill calls the Veo 3.1 image-to-video endpoint, which generates a short animated clip and returns a downloadable video URL. Optional parameters control duration, aspect ratio, resolution, and whether audio is generated.

• Specify duration (4s, 6s, 8s) and aspect ratio (auto, 9:16, 16:9) to match your target platform.
• Disable audio if you need to conserve credits or when sound is unnecessary.
• Validate the image URL is public and accessible to avoid 400 errors.
