Overview

This skill creates TikTok-style photo-mode carousels (still slides with text overlays) using the BlitzReels API with TikTok defaults. It presets platform to "tiktok", a 9:16 aspect ratio, and a TikTok safe-area layout so outputs are optimized for TikTok uploads. Use it to quickly generate hook-driven multi-slide videos with consistent typography, timing, and caption guidance.

How this skill works

The skill wraps the BlitzReels carousel builder with TikTok-focused defaults: platform=tiktok, aspect ratio 9:16, and a safe-area preset for text placement. You provide slide images, titles/text, and duration per slide; the script assembles slides, applies typography and stroke, enforces safe text positions, and exports a short MP4 suitable for TikTok. It also includes guidelines for captions, hashtags, and export settings.

Best practices

• Keep slides to 3–5 and slide duration around 3 seconds to match TikTok defaults.
• Place important text inside the center 70% width and offset slightly left (x≈0.45) to avoid right-side UI.
• Avoid top 80px, bottom 450px, and rightmost 120px on 1080×1920 frames (danger zones).
• Use bold sans-serif fonts, large sizes for titles, and a 6px stroke for legibility.
• Lead captions with a hook, keep first 125 chars strong, and add a hashtag mix at the end.
