Overview

This skill generates 600x600 Instagram-style card news series automatically, with optional background image support and automatic text wrapping. Users supply a topic, preferred colors, and optionally a folder of images; the skill creates multiple ready-to-share cards and returns downloadable files.

How this skill works

Ask the user for a topic, background color (RGB or hex), and optionally a folder of background images and overlay opacity. The skill generates concise card titles and short descriptions (5–7 cards by default), formats them to fit a 600x600 canvas, and either applies a solid color background or loads images in sorted order, adding a dark overlay when needed. Finally, it produces PNG files named with a base filename and numbered suffix, and returns links to each generated card.

Best practices

• Keep titles under 20 characters and content under 60 characters to avoid overflow
• Provide 5–7 items for a balanced series; image count should match card count
• If using images, name files in numeric/alphabetical order (e.g., 01.jpg, 02.jpg)
• Choose overlay opacity between 0.4–0.7 for good text contrast on photos
• Prefer high-quality source images of at least 600x600px
