Overview

This skill is a personal meta-skill for Arach that serves as the single entry point to understand projects, conventions, and available sub-skills. Use it to discover project layout, install specific project skills, and follow my development conventions when contributing or working locally. It activates on phrases like "arach's projects" or when working in any arach/* repository.

How this skill works

The skill inspects repository context and common workspace paths to determine which project skill to load. It maps detected directories or keywords (e.g., ~/dev/arc, "documentation", "voice app") to the appropriate arach/* skill and suggests installation commands. It also provides the conventions, preferred tools, and common commands to align work with my workflow.

When to use it

• When you want an overview of Arach's projects and where code lives
• When opening or working inside any ~/dev/arach* or arach/* repo
• When you need to install a project-specific skill (dewey, arc, etc.)
• When you need my conventions for commits, tooling, or package manager
• When onboarding a new machine or bootstrapping dev environment

Best practices

• Prefer pnpm and check for pnpm-lock.yaml before using npm
• Add gitmoji to all commit messages for clear intent and history
• Never add co-author or "Generated with Claude Code" footers
• Allow Puppeteer uses and prefer editing existing files over creating new ones
• Install specific arach/* skills with npx skills add for deeper context

• You clone a repo in ~/dev/arc and want the arc-diagrams skill loaded automatically
• Bootstrapping a new machine: add this meta-skill then install project skills
• You need to follow project conventions before opening a PR (pnpm, gitmoji, commit style)
• Detecting whether a project is documentation-focused to load the dewey skill
• Quickly finding where a macOS app (Talkie, Scout) lives and its local path
