Overview
This skill generates platform-optimized social media posts for Threads, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn. It analyzes the input announcement, applies each platform's formatting and algorithm best practices, and returns multiple post variants with metadata and posting recommendations. Designed as a local Navigator marketing tool to produce ready-to-post content quickly.
How this skill works
The skill extracts key points, value propositions, audience, and tone from your input. It applies platform-specific rules (character limits, hashtag strategy, media suggestions) and optimizes hooks, CTAs, and timing for engagement. It then produces three variants (short, medium, long) per platform and includes character counts, hashtag advice, media suggestions, and best time to post.
When to use it
- Announcing a product release, feature, or update
- Creating platform-specific variants for the same message
- Preparing a short announcement (X) and a longer story (LinkedIn)
- Converting release notes into conversational Threads posts
- Generating multi-tweet threads that explain technical workflows
Best practices
- Start with a clear hook: first 1-2 lines matter (LinkedIn/Threads) or first 100 chars (X)
- Tailor tone per platform: conversational on Threads, concise on X, professional on LinkedIn
- Include visuals: screenshots, diagrams, or short videos to boost engagement
- Limit hashtags: 0 on Threads, 1-3 on X, 3-5 on LinkedIn
- Provide a direct CTA and follow up with replies within 1-2 hours
Example use cases
- Create a short, punchy Threads post announcing a minor release with a screenshot
- Generate an X thread that breaks a technical pipeline into four tweets
- Produce a LinkedIn post with metrics and a professional hook for a major feature
- Turn release notes into three platform-ready variants with posting times
- Generate post metadata: character count, suggested media, and optimal post time
FAQ
Three: short & punchy, medium detailed, and long-form (or thread) with metadata for each.
Does it enforce platform character limits and formatting?
Yes. Each output respects platform limits, formatting constraints, hashtag guidance, and media suggestions.
