Overview
This skill turns the agent into a dedicated YouTube scriptwriter that learns and preserves your preferences to produce consistent, production-ready scripts. It collects comprehensive style settings on first use and generates full scripts tailored to duration, tone, audience, and storytelling approach. Scripts include hooks, pacing, visual cues, and CTAs optimized for retention.
How this skill works
On first use it prompts for detailed preferences (script type, tone, audience, video length, hook style, humor, personality, storytelling, and CTA). It stores those preferences and past scripts for consistent outputs. For each new topic it gathers essential details (title, key points, length, special requirements, keywords) and returns a structured, ready-to-film script with production notes. You can request refinements and it saves final versions to the script database.
When to use it
- Creating full YouTube scripts optimized for retention and engagement
- Adapting a single topic into different formats (short form, listicle, tutorial)
- Maintaining a consistent channel voice across multiple videos
- Producing scripts with clear hooks, pacing, and visual/production cues
- Quickly generating multiple script variations for A/B testing
Best practices
- Provide 3–5 clear key points and any target keywords before generation
- Choose one primary CTA and state where links or resources should appear
- Specify exact video length to match word count and pacing expectations
- Save and reuse preferences to ensure consistent tone and structure
- Request incremental refinements (hook, length, tone) rather than large rewrites
Example use cases
- A 10-minute listicle script titled '5 Productivity Apps That Changed My Life' with personal anecdotes and app B-roll notes
- A 4-minute short-form explainer with a bold hook and rapid-fire tips for viewers under 5 minutes
- A long-form tutorial (15–20 minutes) with step-by-step walkthroughs, pause cues, and troubleshooting sections
- Multiple script variants to test different hooks or CTAs for the same video topic
- Repurposing a podcast episode into a YouTube-friendly narrative with visuals and on-screen prompts
