Overview
This skill generates coordinated go-to-market launch materials: a subscriber email, a CEO blog post, and a CEO tweet thread, all in one pass. It uses curated voice profiles and subject-line rules to match 2389's authentic tone and Harper's personal CEO voice. Use it to produce ready-to-post copy that’s consistent across channels and tailored to small-audience announcements.
How this skill works
You provide brief product context (name, one-line description, audience, CTA URL, 3–5 key features, availability). The skill then outputs a Buttondown-style email subject and body, a long-form harper.blog CEO post, and a multi-tweet thread in @harper’s voice. It produces all three artifacts together without pausing for confirmation, and follows formatting and tone rules for each channel.
When to use it
- Launching a new product, feature, or research prototype
- Announcing to a ~300-person Buttondown subscriber list
- Preparing a CEO-written blog post for harper.blog
- Crafting an authentic tweet thread from @harper
- When you need consistent cross-channel messaging quickly
Best practices
- Provide required context succinctly: name, one-line what-it-does, audience, URL, 3–5 features, availability
- Optionally add signer name, metrics, and assets for stronger social proof
- Follow the suggested email subject rules: all lowercase, 5–6 words, conversational
- Sequence release: email → blog → tweets and review all outputs before publishing
- Keep edits minimal post-generation; the skill aims to deliver publish-ready drafts
Example use cases
- Announce an invite-only beta to subscribers with a clear CTA and waitlist link
- Publish a long-form founder post explaining origin story, usage, and caveats
- Create an entertaining Twitter thread that drives traffic to the blog and product
- Rapidly produce cohesive materials for an internal review or partner preview
- Prepare copy for launches where the CEO voice should feel casual and technically credible
FAQ
Yes — include a preferred signer (default: Harper). The voice profiles are fixed but you can request tweaks in the prompt.
Will the skill post directly to Slack or social?
Not automatically. There is a separate 'push to slack' workflow described for sharing outputs with the team; posting to socials should be done after review.
How long is the CEO blog post?
The blog output targets a substantial long-form post (roughly 1,500–3,000 words) with a personal origin story and technical substance.
