MCP360 Universal Gateway is a unified gateway that connects your AI agents to 100+ external MCP tools, including marketplace MCPs and custom MCP servers, so you can search for the right tool and execute it across all connected MCP sources from a single interface.

How to use

You interact with MCP360 through two core meta-tools. Use search to discover available tools across all connected MCP servers, then use execute to run any selected tool with the parameters you provide. The gateway aggregates tools from both the marketplace and your custom MCPs, exposing them in a consistent, centralized way. You can start with a simple keyword search like finding email verification or SEO analysis tools, then run a chosen tool with the needed arguments to get results quickly.

How to install

Prerequisites: ensure you have Node.js installed on your system. You will also need an API key if you plan to access secured MCP360 services.

  1. Install the gateway locally using npm or npx. 2) Configure your MCP gateway using the provided configuration blocks. 3) Start the gateway and connect your MCP clients.
# Global installation for faster startup
npm install -g @mcp360/universal-gateway

# Start using the gateway in your config
# Example command to run the gateway locally (adjust as needed)
mcp360-gateway

Additional sections

Configuration and usage details are provided below to help you connect your MCP clients and enterprise deployments. The gateway supports both HTTP-based remote MCP servers and local stdio-driven MCP processes. For each connection, you can supply an API key and optional gateway URL to tailor authentication and routing.

Security is built-in with options like OAuth 2.0 and API key authentication, plus token rotation, audit logs, and rate limiting to protect access to your MCP tools and data.

Example workflows typically involve discovering tools with search, reviewing tool parameters, executing the chosen tool, and then inspecting the results. If you need more tools, you can connect additional MCP servers or add custom MCP configurations to expand your capabilities.

Available tools

search

Discover available tools across all connected MCP servers by providing an optional query to filter by name or description.

execute

Run any tool from any connected MCP server with a set of tool-specific arguments to obtain results tailored to your request.
