Jari Company (자리컴퍼니), the operator of Jaritalk, has raised 14.5 billion KRW (approximately $10.5 million USD) in Series A funding. The round was led by Korea Investment Partners and included participation from HG Initiative, S2L Partners, Evergreen Investment Partners, JCH Investment, and NBH Capital (엔비에이치캐피탈).

What Jaritalk Does

Jaritalk is one of the largest rental-management platforms in South Korea for the monthly-rent housing market. The platform serves both landlords and tenants:

• Landlord-side tools: invoicing, collections, contract management, and automated KakaoTalk rent bills.
• Tenant-side services: rent card payments, rent tax refunds, verified-residence reviews, and short-term rentals.

The company was founded in 2015 as Callbus, a late-night bus ride-sharing service, and pivoted to rental management in 2021. Today, Jaritalk serves about 6 million tenants and 700,000 landlords across more than 740,000 registered buildings. The company has been profitable since 2024.
