Felix Pago Secures $87M Series B to Expand Cross-Border Payments
Felix Pago, a Miami-based fintech enabling remittances to Latin America via WhatsApp, has raised $87 million in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from QED Investors, Contour Venture Partners, Endeavor Catalyst, Switch Ventures, and Castle Island Ventures.
The company allows users in the United States to send money to Latin America through a chat interface on WhatsApp. Senders provide transfer details and pay by card or cash, while recipients receive local currency via bank deposit or cash pickup. Felix Pago settles transactions over stablecoin rails alongside traditional payment partners.
Founded in 2020 by Manuel Godoy and Bernardo García, Felix Pago has processed over $8 billion in transactions for more than 6 million users across 11 countries. The company is now expanding beyond remittances into lending, savings, and other financial services.
The new capital will likely fuel this expansion and further growth in the cross-border payments market.
