DeltaX Raises KRW 32B Series B for AI-Powered BESS Expansion

Seoul-based deeptech company DeltaX has secured KRW 32 billion (approximately USD 24 million) in a Series B funding round, according to a September 1, 2026 announcement. The round was led by Quantum Ventures Korea, with participation from Samsung Securities Co., Ltd., Hana Ventures, Evergreen Investment Partners, Suin Investment Capital, LIG Defense & Aerospace, and Kingo Investment Partners.

DeltaX, founded in 2020, specializes in pairing AI computer-vision technology with battery energy storage system (BESS) design and manufacturing. Unlike typical cell producers, DeltaX integrates battery modules, battery management systems, electrical components, and enclosures into complete BESS products, incorporating proprietary safety and cooling technology. The company serves utilities, renewable developers, data centers, and industrial customers.

The new capital will support DeltaX's manufacturing expansion into the United States (Georgia) and Korea, as well as continued development of its AI vision technology for mobility, smart-factory, and robotics applications.

This Series B round marks a significant milestone for DeltaX as it scales its operations globally and deepens its technological capabilities.
