Aitane Raises ¥30M Pre-Series A from Iidabashi Cross Partners
Aitane Closes ¥30M Pre-Series A
Tokyo-based AI startup Aitane has raised a ¥30 million pre-Series A round from Iidabashi Cross Partners, the corporate venture capital arm of TSE Prime-listed PCA Corporation. The funding was dated September 8, 2026.
This marks Aitane's second ¥30 million CVC round of 2026, following a June investment from S Technology.
What Aitane Does
Founded in October 2023, Aitane builds the AI sales agent also named Aitane. The product automates sales back-office work, including:
- Scanning business cards into CRM
- Pre-meeting company research
- Deal and pipeline updates
- Follow-up drafting
The goal is to free salespeople to spend more time with customers rather than on administrative tasks.
Product Roadmap
Beyond its core sales agent, Aitane is developing AI smart glasses designed to display information during face-to-face sales meetings. The company also offers two additional services:
- Aitane FDE — custom AI product development
- Generative AI Boost — generative-AI adoption support

Investor Context
Iidabashi Cross Partners is the corporate VC of PCA Corporation, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime market. The participation of a corporate investor with a listed parent suggests strategic interest in Aitane's sales-automation and generative-AI tooling.
The round follows Aitane's June 2026 investment from S Technology, another CVC. Together, the two rounds represent ¥60 million raised in 2026 from corporate backers.
Positioning
Aitane sits at the intersection of two active categories in the Japanese enterprise software market: sales enablement and generative AI. Its core agent targets the administrative load that consumes sales teams' time, while its smart-glasses project points toward real-time assistance during in-person meetings.
The company's service lines — custom AI development through Aitane FDE and adoption support through Generative AI Boost — broaden its offering beyond a single product, giving it multiple routes into enterprise customers evaluating generative AI.
