HEO Robotics raises $25M Series B to expand non-Earth imaging network
HEO Robotics Secures $25M Series B
Sydney-based space intelligence company HEO Robotics has raised $25 million in Series B funding, according to a funding announcement dated September 21, 2026. The round was led by Beaten Zone Venture Partners, with participation from Airtree Ventures, National Reconstruction Fund Corporation, Salus Ventures, and Dcode Capital.
What HEO Robotics Does
HEO (High Earth Orbit Robotics) photographs and analyses other objects in orbit, producing what it calls "non-Earth imaging." The company uses cameras and sensors aboard partner Earth-observation satellites alongside its own proprietary hardware to capture imagery of spacecraft and other orbital objects.
Its automated software identifies imaging opportunities, tasks satellites, processes flyby imagery, and applies AI analysis to deliver spacecraft inspection and space domain awareness insights. Customers include government and commercial organizations such as the US National Reconnaissance Office, the Australian Department of Defence, Japan's Ministry of Defense, and the UK Space Agency.
Scale and Reach
HEO operates what it describes as the world's largest commercial non-Earth imaging network, with access to more than 50 sensors. The company holds offices across Australia, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Since its 2023 Series A, HEO has tripled revenue year over year, underscoring growing demand for space domain awareness and spacecraft inspection services.
