Aignosis Raises ₹40 Crore Seed to Scale AI Autism Screening in India
Aignosis Secures ₹40 Crore Seed Round
Aignosis, a Jaipur-based healthtech company, has raised ₹40 crore in seed funding. The round was led by Antler, with participation from Nikhil Kamath, IIMA Ventures, and Varun Dua.
What Aignosis Does
Aignosis builds AI-assisted screening for autism and developmental delays in children aged 16 months to nine years. The system uses a standard laptop and webcam to record a short video of a child responding to nine stimulus modules. Computer vision then analyses behavioural signals such as eye gaze and response to name to produce a risk report indicating whether formal clinical assessment is warranted.
Importantly, Aignosis is a screening layer, not a diagnostic tool. It helps identify children who may need further evaluation, enabling earlier intervention.
Clinic-in-Clinic Model
Aignosis operates a clinic-in-clinic model that equips paediatricians to embed developmental screening in their practices. This approach integrates the technology directly into existing clinical workflows, making it easier for healthcare providers to offer screening without significant disruption.
Regulatory Certification
Aignosis's screening technology is CDSCO Class B certified. This certification from India's Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation indicates that the product meets regulatory requirements for medical devices in the country.

Why This Matters for Acquisition
Aignosis addresses a critical gap in paediatric healthcare: early screening for autism and developmental delays. In India, access to specialist assessment is limited, and many children are diagnosed late. Aignosis's low-cost, scalable solution uses readily available hardware (laptop and webcam) and can be deployed in clinics across the country.
The company's CDSCO Class B certification provides a regulatory moat and credibility with healthcare providers. Its clinic-in-clinic model creates a distribution network that could be expanded to other geographies and conditions.
For acquirers in healthtech, medtech, or AI, Aignosis offers a validated screening platform with regulatory clearance, a clear go-to-market strategy, and a large underserved market. The seed funding will likely support further clinical validation, expansion of the clinic network, and technology development.
As awareness of early developmental intervention grows, Aignosis is well-positioned to become a standard tool in paediatric practices.
