Dyad Raises $10M Series A Led by Sangha Capital for Healthcare AI
Dyad Secures $10M Series A
Dyad, a London-based healthcare AI company, has raised $10 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Sangha Capital, with participation from Carbide Ventures and Bill Tai.
What Dyad Does
Dyad was founded by Dr Alexander Tayler and Dr Steven Hamblin. Its GENIE system (Graph Enabled Information Extraction) combines NLP, knowledge graphs, and large language models to turn unstructured clinical documents into structured, coded data for patient records and agentic workflows. Every suggestion is reviewed by practice staff before it reaches the record.
In UK primary care, GENIE powers BetterLetter, an AI clinical-coding platform used by more than 200 GP surgeries. BetterLetter has processed over five million clinical documents and targets the estimated £300 million annual cost of moving unstructured data between secondary and primary care.
The Investment
- Round type: Series A
- Amount raised: $10,000,000
- Lead investor: Sangha Capital
- Additional investors: Carbide Ventures, Bill Tai
- Funding date: September 29, 2026
Why This Matters for Acquisition
The Series A provides Dyad with capital to scale its healthcare AI platform, particularly GENIE and BetterLetter, within UK primary care and potentially beyond. For acquirers in healthtech, clinical documentation, or AI-driven workflow automation, Dyad offers a proven system that addresses a costly pain point: converting unstructured clinical data into structured, coded records.
With over 200 GP surgeries already using BetterLetter and more than five million documents processed, Dyad has demonstrated traction in a market with significant annual spend. The involvement of Sangha Capital as lead, alongside Carbide Ventures and Bill Tai, signals strong investor confidence in Dyad's approach to clinical coding and agentic workflows. This makes Dyad a compelling target for companies looking to enhance their healthcare data interoperability or AI-assisted clinical documentation capabilities.
