Bonbon Mobility raises $500K pre-seed from Tasco and GenAI Fund

Bonbon Mobility Raises $500K Pre-Seed Round

Bonbon Mobility, a Vietnamese mobility-technology company, has raised a pre-seed round of $500,000. The round was led by Tasco, with GenAI Fund also participating.

What Bonbon Mobility Does

Bonbon Mobility operates Bonbon (BonBon GARA), an online-to-offline platform that connects car owners with independent garages and vehicle-care providers. Rather than building its own service outlets, the company layers a digital booking-and-payment experience on top of existing independent providers.

The platform targets the Vietnamese car-service market, which the company estimates at more than 12,500 car-wash and vehicle-care sites. Bonbon reaches car owners through the VETC electronic-toll network, while giving partner garages digital tools for quotes, workflow and customer management.

Company Background

The venture emerged from Tasco Foundry Wash3000, a venture-building program run by Tasco together with GenAI Fund. The founding operating team is led by founder and CEO Nguyen Chi Dung.

Round Details

  • Round type: Pre-Seed
  • Amount raised: $500,000 USD
  • Lead investor: Tasco
  • Participating investors: Tasco, GenAI Fund
  • Announced: September 22, 2026

Why It Matters

The pre-seed round gives Bonbon Mobility capital to develop its asset-light model in a fragmented Vietnamese vehicle-care market. By connecting car owners to independent garages through a digital layer rather than owning service outlets, the company is positioned to scale through partnerships and distribution reach rather than physical expansion.

The involvement of Tasco, which also backed the venture-building program that produced Bonbon, and GenAI Fund signals continued strategic support from the company's incubation ecosystem.

Outlook

With fresh pre-seed funding in place, Bonbon Mobility is focused on growing its network of partner garages and car owners across Vietnam's car-service market. The company's integration with the VETC electronic-toll network provides a distribution channel to reach drivers at scale as it builds out its booking-and-payment platform.
