Raysolve Secures CNY 100 Million Seed Round
Suzhou-based Micro-LED microdisplay chip developer Raysolve (镭昱半导体) has raised CNY 100 million in Seed funding. The round was led by 招银国际资本 (CMB International Capital), with participation from FinTrek Capital (沣途资本).
What Raysolve Does
Raysolve was founded in 2019 by a team from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The company develops Micro-LED microdisplay chips built on its proprietary quantum dot photolithography (QDPR) technology.
Its core products are monolithic full-color Micro-LED microdisplays and light engines, including the PowerMatch 1 line for AR glasses. The company is also extending the same technology platform into high-speed optical interconnect for AI compute.
Market Position
Raysolve works with leading US and European AR/MR players and optical module vendors on prototype and application validation. The company has been named a China Potential Unicorn Enterprise for three consecutive years.

Why It Matters
The Seed round gives Raysolve capital to continue developing its Micro-LED microdisplay platform across two demanding applications: AR glasses and AI compute interconnect. The involvement of CMB International Capital as lead, alongside FinTrek Capital, signals institutional backing for the company's QDPR-based approach to full-color Micro-LED microdisplays.
For partners and counterparties evaluating the AR/MR supply chain, Raysolve's existing validation work with US and European AR/MR players and optical module vendors is a relevant marker of its commercial traction at the prototype and application-validation stage.
