EIT Pharma Raises $35M Series A for Hepatitis D and Infectious Disease Pipeline
EIT Pharma, a Kirkland, Washington-based clinical-stage biotechnology company, has secured $35 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Propel Bio Partners, with participation from Good Ventures Foundation and Arrowtown. The investment will support the development of the company's lead program, lonafarnib, an investigational oral candidate for chronic hepatitis D, which is currently under FDA review.
Addressing Unmet Medical Needs
EIT Pharma focuses on developing therapies for infectious diseases with significant unmet medical needs. Its pipeline includes treatments for chronic hepatitis D and acute respiratory infections.
