Empirik Raises $21M Seed for AI-Driven Infrastructure Change Management
Empirik, an AI agent for infrastructure change management, has raised $21 million in seed funding. The round was announced on September 1, 2026, with participation from Canapi Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and Sequoia Capital. The company was incubated inside Sequoia Capital starting in 2023 and spun out in 2026 under CEO Kartik Chandrayana.
What Empirik does
Empirik builds an AI agent that helps DevOps and SRE teams manage infrastructure changes. The platform compiles metadata from a customer's clouds, identity providers, CI/CD tools, and SaaS applications into a live operational graph. This graph maps the blast radius of every change before it is deployed, enabling teams to prevent incidents, detect unauthorized changes, and continuously assure production state across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises environments.
Customers
Empirik reports production customers including S&P Global, Guardant Health, and a Fortune-50 consumer packaged goods company.
