Plenti Raises $3M Seed Led by Tether for Digital-Dollar Accounts and B2B Treasury
Plenti Raises $3M Seed
Plenti, a fintech from Medellín, Colombia, has raised $3 million in seed funding. Tether led the round, with participation from Verda Ventures.
What Plenti Does
Plenti is built around digital-dollar accounts. Users can:
- Save in stablecoins such as USDT and USDC.
- Make international transfers.
- Pay with a multi-currency Visa card.
- Earn balance yields of up to about 8% E.A.
The company also operates a B2B line called Finity, an API-based international treasury platform for companies moving money across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Traction
Plenti reports more than 150,000 active users and over US$3.1 billion in annual transaction volume across its consumer and business divisions.
In 2025, the company became the first international-payments fintech connected to Colombia's Bre-B instant payments system.
Why the Round Matters
The seed round brings in Tether as lead investor, alongside Verda Ventures. For a fintech operating at the intersection of stablecoin savings, cross-border transfers and business treasury, the backing aligns with its core product direction around digital-dollar accounts.

What to Watch
Plenti's dual consumer and B2B model — digital-dollar accounts on one side, API-based treasury infrastructure on the other — gives it two distinct paths for growth across the Americas, Europe and Asia. Its connection to Colombia's Bre-B instant payments system positions it within the local payments rails while serving cross-border flows.
For acquirers and strategic partners, Plenti offers a stablecoin-native account platform with reported scale in users and transaction volume, plus an enterprise treasury API in Finity.
