Tickets for Good raises £3.9M Series A led by NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance
Tickets for Good, a Sheffield-based social-impact ticketing platform, has raised £3.9 million in Series A funding. The round was led by NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance, with participation from LeanSquare, Shaping Impact Si3 Fund, and Finance Yorkshire. The funding was announced on September 7, 2026.
What Tickets for Good does
Tickets for Good turns surplus event capacity into low-cost access to live music, sport, theatre, and festivals. Event partners donate tickets that the platform distributes free or at a discount to verified key workers — including NHS staff, teachers, and charity workers — as well as people facing financial barriers. Members join for free and pay a small transaction fee, while venues gain fuller houses and ancillary spend.
Trading since 2022, the company has grown to nearly 750,000 verified members and has distributed over 1.25 million tickets across the UK, US, Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
The funding round
- Round type: Series A
- Amount: £3.9 million
- Date: September 7, 2026
- Lead investor: NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance
- Additional investors: LeanSquare, Shaping Impact Si3 Fund, Finance Yorkshire
The Series A capital follows a period of growth for Tickets for Good, which has expanded its member base to nearly 750,000 verified users and distributed more than 1.25 million tickets since it began trading in 2022. The platform operates across five countries: the UK, US, Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
Why this matters for the sector
Tickets for Good operates at the intersection of live events and social impact. By connecting event partners with surplus capacity to key workers and individuals facing financial barriers, the platform addresses both underutilised venue inventory and access to cultural and sporting experiences. The model benefits venues through increased attendance and ancillary spending, while members access events at low or no cost beyond a small transaction fee.
With the new Series A funding, Tickets for Good is positioned to continue scaling its verified member base and ticket distribution across its existing markets in Europe and the US.
