Noetive Emerges from Stealth with $41M Seed Led by Eclipse to Build AI Brain for Physical Economy

Noetive Launches with $41M Seed Round

Noetive, an applied AI research lab building the intelligence of record for the physical economy, has emerged from stealth with a $41 million seed round. The round was led by Eclipse Ventures, which also incubated the company. Additional investors include Gigascale Capital, Factory, Incite Ventures, Craft Ventures, The Westly Group, Operator Partners, Swish Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, and a group of angel investors: Zach Frenkel, Andrew Bosworth, Ahmad Al-Dahle, Matt Rogers, Mike Schroepfer, Dean Leitersdorf, Moshe Shalev, and Orian Leitersdorf.

What Noetive Builds

Noetive is developing a self-improving AI brain that learns how an industrial business actually runs. Paired with a universal multi-modal sensing pod, the system provides real-world perception of operations on the ground. This combination aims to create an intelligence layer for the physical economy—manufacturing, logistics, energy, and data centers.

Founding Team and Origins

The company is co-founded by longtime Meta vice president Amir Frenkel and former Netlify product executive Dan Barak. It was incubated by lead investor Eclipse. Noetive emerged from stealth in September 2026.

Early Traction

Noetive works with design partners across manufacturing, logistics, energy, and data centers. Early customer Steuben Foods now replans production daily in minutes instead of taking a week each month, according to the company.

Why It Matters

The physical economy—spanning factories, supply chains, and energy infrastructure—generates vast amounts of operational data, but much of it remains siloed or underutilized. Noetive's approach combines AI learning with multi-modal sensing to create a feedback loop that improves over time. This could enable more adaptive, efficient operations in industries where real-time decision-making is critical.

Acquisition Angle

For acquirers in industrial software, AI, or IoT, Noetive represents a potential target with a strong founding team, early customer validation, and backing from prominent investors. The company's focus on the physical economy and its multi-modal sensing technology could complement larger platforms seeking to offer AI-driven operational intelligence.

As industries continue to digitize, solutions like Noetive may become strategic assets for companies looking to bridge the gap between physical operations and AI-driven insights.
