Insera Solution Secures ₩13.5B Series A for Space Optics
South Korean precision optomechatronics company Insera Solution has raised ₩13.5 billion (approximately $10 million USD) in a Series A funding round, according to a filing dated September 1, 2026. The round was led by SV Investment, with participation from L&S Venture Capital, Daekyo Investment, Shinhan Venture Investment, SolidX, InterVest, Innopolis Partners, and JB Ventures.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Cheonan, Insera Solution develops and manufactures fast steering mirrors (FSMs) — optical devices that steer laser beams with high speed and precision. The company also produces PAT (pointing, acquisition, and tracking) platforms used in space laser communications and defense systems.
Insera Solution is described as Korea's only domestic FSM supplier, selling to local space and defense companies and government-funded research institutes. Its space-grade FSM has been selected for Korea's space-component validation program, with in-orbit verification planned on the Nuriho launch vehicle.
The new capital is expected to support the company's expansion in the space and defense sectors, as well as further development of its precision optical technologies.
