VALT JAPAN Secures Seed Financing

VALT JAPAN has raised a seed round led by BRICKS FUND TOKYO, the CVC fund of Mitsubishi Estate. The funding date is September 7, 2026. Additional investors include Iyo Venture Fund No. 8, Global Brain's Meiji Yasuda Mirai Kyoso Fund, and NX Global Innovation Fund. The funding amount was not disclosed.

What VALT JAPAN Does

VALT JAPAN operates NEXT HERO, a digital-transformation and BPO platform specialized for people who face difficulties finding employment. The platform takes end-to-end responsibility for corporate work orders and delivers them through employment-support offices across all 47 Japanese prefectures.

In addition to the platform, VALT JAPAN runs directly operated NEXT HERO DIC employment-support centers. This includes DIC MARUNOUCHI, opened jointly with Mitsubishi Estate in February 2025, which draws more than 800 applicants a year.

Strategic Backing from Diverse Industries

The financing includes investors from the real-estate, logistics, insurance, and regional-banking industries. This diverse group of backers suggests broad interest in VALT JAPAN's model of combining digital transformation with employment support.

Acquisition Perspective

VALT JAPAN addresses a critical social and economic challenge: helping individuals who face difficulties finding employment while providing corporate work-order fulfillment through a nationwide network. The company's end-to-end responsibility model and its directly operated support centers, such as DIC MARUNOUCHI, demonstrate a hands-on approach to bridging the employment gap.

With backing from Mitsubishi Estate's CVC and other institutional investors, VALT JAPAN is positioned to scale its operations and potentially expand its impact across Japan. For acquirers or strategic partners in the HR tech, BPO, or digital transformation sectors, VALT JAPAN offers a unique combination of social impact and business process outsourcing capabilities.

The seed funding will likely support further development of the NEXT HERO platform, expansion of employment-support centers, and enhancement of corporate service offerings. As the company grows, it may become an attractive target for organizations looking to enter or consolidate in the Japanese employment support and BPO market.
