YK-Robotics develops YK-Platform, AI-powered software that acts as the brain of the robotic cell: users design, simulate, program, commission and operate multi-brand industrial robots by describing tasks in natural language. Founded in Florence in 2020 by Joan Ortega Alcaide and Marco Guadagni, the group is now headed by Spain-based YK Robotics S.L. from Barcelona and sells turnkey robotic cells and robotics-as-a-service to manufacturers, system integrators and machine builders. The platform is hardware-agnostic, integrating KUKA, FANUC, ABB, Universal Robots, Comau, Kawasaki and Estun robots, with proven deployments in food, chemicals, furniture and sheet-metal machinery.
