Weflayr is a Paris-based AI infrastructure startup that builds an AI gateway routing each inference request to the model best suited for it. AI teams benchmark candidate models against their own production workloads under quality and cost objectives, approve the models they trust, and the gateway dynamically matches incoming requests to the best-performing approved model, factoring in business context such as the customer and margin attached. Founded by former Mangopay CEO Romain Mazeries and former Theodo Data & AI head of AI engineering Noe Achache, the company reports its first deployment cut inference costs by more than 55% at equivalent quality and is part of Station F's F/AI program.
