Watchtower Labs builds AI-native decision software for military operations, combining simulation, optimization and AI to model hundreds of possible futures against real-world constraints and help planners generate and stress-test executable courses of action. Incubated inside venture firm Shield Capital, the company was co-founded by former Marine special operations officer Akhil Iyer with ex-Microsoft engineering leaders Souren Aghajanyan and John Morman. It begins with logistics and sustainment planning for the U.S. military - working with the Defense Innovation Unit Joint Sustainment Decision Tool program and the Naval Postgraduate School - and is extending into broader operational planning.
