Vrtx is a Riyadh-based fintech founded in 2025 by Mishal Bin Slimah and Omar Shaaban that provides embedded-finance infrastructure for businesses. Its platform combines wallets, payouts, card issuing, transfers and transaction processing with operational tooling such as a secure test environment and guided workflows, so companies can launch financial products without assembling the underlying systems themselves. The founders previously worked together at Tweeq, an early Saudi digital finance platform acquired by Tabby, and the company has received In-Principle Approval from the Saudi Central Bank for an Electronic Money Institution licence.
