Vaeridion is a Munich-based electric aircraft manufacturer developing the Microliner, a clean-sheet nine-passenger regional aircraft powered entirely by batteries, with a glider-inspired wing, integrated modular battery packs and a multi-engine, single-propeller propulsion system. The aircraft targets 400 km of range with nine passengers under instrument flight rules, is being developed to EASA CS-23 requirements and is planned in passenger and cargo versions, with commercial service targeted for 2030. Founded in 2021 by former Airbus managers Ivor van Dartel and Sebastian Seemann, the company engineers the aircraft in Munich and Delft and is building it at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport, with conditional orders for more than 130 aircraft from regional airlines, charter operators and lessors.
