Urologic Design is a Connecticut medical device startup building a low-cost, reusable device for urinary incontinence, positioned as an alternative to disposable adult diapers and pads. It was founded out of Yale by Henry Ritter (Yale School of Management and School of the Environment) with urologist Dr. David Hesse of Yale School of Medicine and Yale SOM professor Barry Nalebuff, and pitches the product on both a clinical and a landfill-waste-reduction argument. The company is pre-launch, operating from Branford and New Haven, and has been recognized by Yale CBEY and the Yale Innovation Summit.
