TriOar is a South Korean biotech founded in 2021 by Dr. Sung Ho Woo that develops next-generation antibody-based therapeutics and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) for oncology from its Daejeon base. Its two proprietary platforms - TROCAD, a dual-function conditionally activated masking technology, and TROSIG, a self-immolative linker-payload system - are designed to improve tumor selectivity and the therapeutic index of ADCs, and underpin internal candidates including the CLDN18.2-targeting TRO-01 and the EGFR-targeting TRO-02 presented at AACR 2026. The company pursues commercialization through co-development and technology-transfer deals with domestic and global pharma, including a platform licensing and joint development agreement with Celltrion, and operates out of the Seoul Biohub startup support program.
