ThriveAgric is a Nigerian agritech startup, founded in 2017 by Uka Eje and Ayodeji Arikawe, that connects smallholder farmers to financing and buyers across Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. Its Agricultural Operating System (AOS) captures farm and transaction data across onboarding, input distribution, aggregation and buyer off-take, serving more than 1.3 million farmers through roughly 5,000 field agents. Backed by Y Combinator and having raised over $61M in equity and debt to date, the company is building a data layer intended to eventually give smallholder farmers access to formal credit.
