ThinkMetal is a Chennai-based deeptech startup building an integrated metal additive manufacturing platform that combines industrial hardware, proprietary materials and software to produce high-value precision metal parts. Its flagship SistemT1 system uses patented metal fused additive manufacturing with FuseX metal filaments to make tools and components such as moulds, dies, jigs and fixtures, which the company says can be produced up to 10x faster and at half the cost of conventional methods. Founded in 2021 by Sabyasachi Ghosh and Arushi Sharma, it serves industrial manufacturers across aerospace, defence, space, automotive and electric mobility.
